Mashrou3 Leila

Boom boom
Ras-el-3abed Kalashnikovs
Shooting molasses at the masses
Sticky sticky masses
Waiving flags from everywhere but here
And somewhere in the heart of hamra
Maw3oud sits down under the last yasmine bush in the city
And plays the bee bop bee bop bee boom boom
Waiving decibels for the sticky sticky masses
His feet up on his pomegranate trolly
Why can’t I transliterate you back?
Fool. Durra. Fool. Durra. Fools.
The whole lot.
Fools. Sticky sticky fools.

Ressala

Each band member presents freely topics he is interested in, this have resulted in a set of songs that describes the spirit of the band and consequently the reality of Egyptian youth.

These differences resulted in a special genre of songs and music; the vocals artistically perform songs with Egyptian lyrics accompanied by experimental and creative music.

Ressala is now one of the most popular bands in Egypt.

I-Voice

I-Voice consists of two Palestinian rappers living as refugees in Lebanon: Yassin aka YEAH-SEEN (Ray) and Mohammad Turk aka T.N.T.

I-Voice started rapping in 2001, and is today a revolutionary duo that cannot stop telling the truth. They invented their own style, Trap (Tarab Rap), where Rap as a tool is joined with Arabic instruments and opinions to create a new kind of Tarab.

Omar Kamel

Omar Kamel is a well-traveled contemporary musician from Egypt.

His multi-cultural background can be seen in the diversity of music he’s written, composed, and produced. It’s been said that it would be an injustice to pin him down to one genre - he has produced world-dance instrumentals, electronic pieces, alt-pop songs in English, and is now working on a forthcoming album of Arabic Pop/Rock songs called Mamnou3 El Intizar.
