Album Description:
“Laka Anta” is the title of Rabi3 Beirut’s fist album, including 5 instrumentals and 5 songs, in addition to Fouad Abed Al Majid’s “mouwashah”: Aajaban Li Ghazal, produced in 2009.
The album’s works were completed in Beirut, during the period stretching from 2004 till late 2008, thus reflecting the critical reality Lebanon endured throughout those years. The tracks’ order serves an ascendant mood, translated by new instruments, various arrangements, and leading to an increasing musical expressivity.
All those new features are not an attempt to break with the cultural achievements of the 19th and 20th century of Arab music, but serve more accurately the angry and anguish mood, its anxious expectation, leading to a lighter ease; many ways of expression combining oriental and western music, for as many states of mind.
With the completion of the 5 musical pieces, Nadine’s multi-toned voice brings even more dramatic layers to the songs, and contributes in building the figurative poetic content in Samih Al Kasem’s and Palestinian poet Samar Jaber’s works, in various dimensions from love and passion, to rebellion and anger, While the selection of deceased poet Abed Al Majid Al Mestqawi’s beautiful “mouwashah”: Aajaban Li Ghazal, might seem at first as a clear identification to the Egyptian Arabic music school, the door is open to contemporary arrangement techniques in addition to modern enterprises and experiences in the Middle East, from Egypt to Lebanon to Palestine.
The ascendant electric temper of the CD reaches its paroxysm with Tamer Abu Ghazaleh’s visionary interpretation of “Ya Abana”, the last track, reaching explosive madness.
"لك أنت" هو اسم الألبوم الأأول لـ"ربيع بيروت"، 5 أعمال موسيقية و5 غناية، وإضافة الى إعادة تقديم موشح عجباً لغزال لفؤاد عبد المجيد المستكاوي تحية له. تمّ الانتهاء من تسجيله في ربيع العام 2009.
اكتملت أعمال الألبوم في بيروت، في الفترة الممتدّة من منتصف العام 2004 الى منتصف العام 2008، وكان في هذه الأعمال انعكاس لواقع المناخ الذي عاشته بيروت في السنوات تلك..
يخدم ترتيب الأعمال في الألبوم مزاجاً متصاعداً تزداد وتيرته مع توالي الأعمال، وينعكس ذلك استحضاراً لآلات جديدة، أو تصعيداً في اللحن، أو التوزيع والتنفيذ.
لا تُظهر الجمل الموسيقية انقطاعاً ثقافياً عمّا وصل الينا من الرصيد الموسيقي العربي في القرنين التاسع عشر والعشرين، إن من خلال الملامح اللحنية أو من خلال مزاج التنفيذ، لكن حالات من التوتر والغضب، أوالقلق والترقّب، أو الانفراج مع بعض الخفّة، حالات تبحث عن الأسلوب المناسب من أساليب المعالجة الموسيقية العربية أو الغربية، لتعبّر عن نفسها.
مع انتهاء الأعمال الموسيقية الخمسة، ينضّم صوت نادين بنبرات متعددة، حاملاً احتمالات درامية جديدة في التعبير، تساهم في تصوير المضمون الشعري بأبعاد مختلفة، تتراوح بين الحبّ والغزل والتمرّد والغضب، في قصائد للشاعر الكبير سميح القاسم والشاعرة الفلسطينية سمر جابر.
واذا كان اختيار موشّح عجباً لغزال، للراحل فؤاد عبد المجيد المستكاوي، اشارة مباشرة على الانتساب الى المدرسة المصرية في الموسيقى العربية، إلا أن الباب مفتوح أمام استعارة التقنيات التوزيعية الغربية الكلاسيكية أو الحديثة، والافادة من الكثير من التجارب المعاصرة في بلدان المشرق العربيّ، ولا سيّما في لبنان وفلسطين المحتلّة.
واذا كانت الأعمال بتريتبها تحاكي حالة نفسية تتصاعد من القلق الى التوتر ثمّ الغضب والضغط في "لك انت"، فإن الرؤية التي نفّذها تامر ابو غزالة لأغنية "يا أبانا" تأتي لتحاكي نتيجة تراكم هذا الضغط، وهي مرحلة فقدان الصواب
