| Rabea Beirut Country : Lebanon City: : Beirut # Albums: : 1 Info: “Rabi3 Beirut” first started their performances in 2004, under the name of “Nadine and the band”, between the Unesco Palace, Beirut, and the American University of Beirut, and then in many festivals in different Lebanese regions. Reaching Egypt, they performed in Alexandria and Napoli in 2005, and Paris in 2007 in (معهد العالم العربي). The band chose to search for a unique music identity, rising from the Arabic tradition but overcoming its classical conventions, seeking new possibilities and expressions worthy of our reality, without breaking the subtle balance of Arabic music. بدأت المجموعة عروضها في العام 2004 تحت اسم "ندين والمجموعة"، وأول العروض كان في بيروت، في قصر الأونيسكو ثمّ في الجامعة الأمريكية في بيروت ثمّ في عدد من مهرجانات الموسيقى في بيروت والمناطق اللبنانية، قبل أن تقدّم أمسيات في القاهرة والاسكندرية (2004)، ونابولي (2005) وباريس (2007) في معهد العالم العربي. اختارت المجموعة البحث عن خطّ موسيقي خاصّ، ينطلق من قلب التراث العربيّ الكلاسيكي، ولا يقف عنده، ويبحث عن مجالات جديدة للموسيقى العربية دون الاخلال بروحها، وعن مزاج تعبيري يحاكي واقع الحال. |
